ALMA was the first project in Henrique Sá Pessoa's own name. It opened in 2009 and was immediately nominated as the Best Restaurant of the Year.

ALMA, receives its first Michelin Star in 2016, just under a year after reopening in Chiado (new restaurant after the closing of the first ALMA in 2014) and becomes one of the reference restaurants in the country.

He is appointed ambassador of Estrella Damm in Portugal in the year 2017 alongside personalities of the world cuisine such as Joan Roca, Andoni Aduriz and Albert Adrià.

2018 is marked by ALMA's bi-stardom, the debut of a new TV show (FOX Life), Chef de Família.

​

In late August, the Chef opens Tapisco in Porto, his first restaurant at Invicta.
